NEW REWARDS PROGRAM BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 1, 2018
Filer Credit Union is pleased to announce it is partnering with ScoreCard Rewards to service the rewards program for all of our Filer Visa cardholders. The ScoreCard Rewards program functions much like our existing rewards program, but with some great new benefits:
- Points show up in your account daily allowing you to redeem faster!
- There are more ways you can redeem your points. Gift Cards, cash back and expanded travel and merchandise are just a few of the new perks with ScoreCard.
We are thrilled to be able to offer this expanded program at no additional cost to you, our loyal members. To better assist you through this transition, here are some of the most frequently asked questions related to the switch:
When is this program taking effect?
August 31, 2018 is the last day that our current Visa Rewards platform will be available to our members. September 1, 2018 is when ScoreCard will become active.
What happens to my existing, unused points?
All unused points will be transferred to ScoreCard Rewards. Please allow 30 days for your points to show up in your account during this transition.
How to I access ScoreCard Rewards?
ALL Filer Credit Union rewards members will need to create their new account. Here are the simple step-by-step instructions:
1. Open your internet browser and visit: www.scorecardrewards.com
2. Click on the “Create Account” button
3. Enter your 16 digit card number and contact information (including an email address)
4. Create a username and password
5. Answer/create your security questions
6. ScoreCard will send an email to authenticate your account. Follow the final instructions to login and start using your rewards.
When can I redeem items/points on my current Visa Rewards Account?
You can still redeem your rewards under your current Visa Rewards account up until August 31, 2018. After that, any unused rewards will transfer to ScoreCard, however, will take up to 30 days to become available for use.
When will my new points start appearing on ScoreCard?
All purchases made on September 1, 2018 and after will be available in ScoreCard Rewards. To create your account, follow the steps outlined on the prior page.
