Manistee Michigan – Filer Credit Union is pleased to announce is 2021 class of scholarship winners. Manistee’s largest financial institution has been awarding local students the Filer Credit Union Scholarship since the early 1990s.
“We are thrilled to be able to award 10 Manistee County students scholarships this year,” says Patty Preuss, CEO of Filer Credit Union, “this program has been very important to the board of directors and the entire Filer family and we love being able to help our local graduates in their college careers”
Filer Credit Union has awarded $1000 to each student with an opportunity to apply for an additional $1000 in their second year.
This year, the recipients of the Filer Credit Union Scholarship are;
Ajah Fink, Benjamin Falk, Careryn Sutcliffe, Haylee Pepera, Jack Holtgren, Jasmine Cabarrubia, Lily Sagala, Olivia Holtgren, Olivia Smith, and Reanna Sutter.
To qualify for a Filer Credit Union Scholarship, applicants must be accepted to an accredited college, university or school for the upcoming school year. The applicant or their parents must be a member at Filer Credit Union with the winners being selected from a panel of judges.
